The Crimea

This area is the southern most part of the Ukraine and is separated from the mainland mass. It is definitely a separate area with it's own culture and mix of excitement. The jewel in the crown is probably Yalta, the centre of the Ukrainian Riviera. A beautiful city on the shores of the Black Sea. The climate is excellent for summer visitors, hotter than Southern Spain for 2/3 months. So much to see, so much to do.
The 150th anniversary of the Crimean War is 2004, we have a few places left for our battlefield tours, so book early!! The Queen and Maggie T are going there so it will be very busy.
