This country has extensive historical interest, especially the Crimean Peninsula, which has been a prized possession of numerous invaders.

The invaders include the Tartars, the Greeks, Persians, Romans, Goths, Huns, Genoese, Venetians, Byzantines, and of course the Russians.

World War II, the Revolution, the separation of the Ukraine from the USSR add volumes to the chapters of history.

Culture, religion, engineering, all add a unique flavour to the history of this country.

And of course, the Ukraine is a massive land mass, history is everywhere!!
